Mysteries of the Anime Unsolved?

On this thread you can talk about the mysteries of the Anime that occurred, but haven't been solved up until now.

I'll begin, then:

I already talked about those two. The giant Dragonite that appeared in the ocean near the lighthouse. Something that we might never see again because the creators forgot about this, probably. But for my likes, that episode was pretty cool.

And the second is the Ghastly that knew how to speak and was transforming into animals that doesn't appear in the anime. And also showed us Venustoise.

I wonder if we would see Venustoise again sometime... But I doubt it.

Any others?

The GS Ball! Although the anime makers have resolved the mystery, it was never brought up in the anime, which I think is a shame.

I think the GS ball was originally going to start a Celibi arc, but they scraped that idea and went with the movie.

I believe it was supposed to be made out of a rainbow wing and silver wind, the only things that can hold a time traveling pokemon.

Speaking of Rainbow Wings, whatever happened to Ho-oh in the anime? It used to have a special role and connection to Ash. Now it's forgotten.

Ho-oh was last seen going to Hoenn and "convinced" Ash to travel there, if i'm not mistaken? Yeah it appeared like if Ho-oh had a role connection with Ash as well.

Probably to make us know somehow that there were more than 150 pokemons that were not discovered. In the game and in magazines and such we could see the 150 pokemons before the Kanto Saga finished, though. And i don't know if in the english dub they said it in the pokerap, but in the spanish dub they said "There are 150 or more to see".

But before that, i thought that Ho-oh was Moltres, before seeing him in Pokemon Gold.

How the eff did lugia have a baby? (and please dont give a smart answer like the birds and the beesm :p I have heard it way to many times)

It's not forgotten; it watched ash for a while and after realizing it's mistake, has been hitting its head against the side of the Tin tower for the last 12 seasons as punishment for encouraging the little idiot.

Well, when mama lugia and papa lugia love each other very very much, they make an egg, but since that old man never told me where eggs come from, I can't tell you more than that.

Pokémon can breed, Legendary Pokémon too. They don't allow it in the games because it would make it too easy to obtain Legendary Pokémon.

This is a mystery, where in the world is Ash's father? I always wanted him to show up in the anime, but he never did.

They either have a plan for it to happen, or the fact that he died is real.

What ever happened to Molly? We need a chronicles episode.

Forget the chronicles episode, we need a new series! molly! wooooo!

She can start off her adventure with Flaaffy, Phanpy, Kingdra, Mantine, and Entei! And probably some random Chickorita that had no purpose in the movie whatsoever (except to get Ash up a Waterfall. Don't even explain to me how that works).

The mystery of Ash's father reminds me a lot of Pokemon shipping: there's really only room for uneducated theory. Some people say it's professor Oak, others like to get a little too Star War-sy and say it's Giovanni, and then we have stupid people who go as far as to say Ash's father is actually Gary Oak, lol. The fact is that nothing is confirmed, but it would be a smart move for them to make an episode that answers this age old question. It would be even better if they made it scandalous, that would send some real excitement through the anime community for a change.

If it's anyone it's probably professor Oak. He's always at Ash's home with Deila. Lets not try and pretend like there isn't an affair going on there; we all know what's happening.

Or spencer hale, he's the same age as ash's mother, and they were both oak's students.
If that were true, them molly is ash's half sister...

More reason for a new series where molly has her journey and kicks ash's ass.

I like to think that legendary Pokémon have special locations where they breed (like Arceus and Sinjoh Ruins), instead of in front of an old couple.

Legendaries being genderless is the only issue I have. Though there were several appearances of Articuno in the anime as well. As far as I can tell, they were all different.

As far as Ash's father goes, I am almost positive the original series wanted to reveal Giovanni to be Ash's father. If you watch Pokémon Live!, it is almost confirmed.
