Ruling N shuffling

So I have no hand, I use N with # of Prize Cards left.

1) Do I have to shuffle my deck anyway?
2) If not, do I only have to grab my cards like if it was Cheren?

Yes, if you play N with 0 cards in your hand, you still have to shuffle your deck. It's the same for pretty much any other card as well. (ie: Playing Random Receiver and having the top card be a supporter,) Whenever a card says "shuffle your deck," you always shuffle it.
