Need help deciding!

(Im new to being a pokebeach member, first post!)
I need help deciding whether I should sell all my pokemon cards cuz im not good at making decks or just sell my old cards and try to make decks.

Help is appreciated!:)
 
Im not sure how we can help you. Because Im personally biased to you to keep playing! because A) your cards probably wont sell for much anyways and B) You can always get better!

So keep trying and look through the deck garage for ideas, learn the staples, and then make a deck that you like and can have fun with!
 
When I first made decks 4 years ago..I was like "yay lets make a psychic deck" with random psychic evolution lines and Some strategy like compounding status effects, and I had Some ok/good trainers and such in it. This year I got 5th place at ohio states, as a master. I came that far in 4 years, and if you try I bet you can do it in even less! :)

As in, don't sell your cards, except for non heart gold/soulsilver and after. KEEP HGSS undaunted unleashed Triumphant, call of legends, and black and white. Sell everything else that you don't like for fun/collection
 
You can probably trade a lot of it for newer stuff, depending on what it is. You could list them on a thread on the trading corner here; I know quite a few people who are looking for older cards.
