Ruling Need help fast: Question about Flygon ex PK's poke-body

Flygon ex states that if an opponent damages me with an attack, I may discard up to 4 cards from my hand. Each card discarded reduces 10 damage...

Question1: The first time I get damaged I discard 4 cards from my hand, next time can I discard another 4 cards and reduce up to a total of 80?

Question2: When I discard cards from my hand to reduce damage does that -40 stay on until it dies, goes to the bench, or at the end of their/my turn?

No. (See below.)

The effect is only for that one attack. It does not stack across turns.

Yes, the effect is only good for one attack.
