Yes, sir. Of course, sir.

I understand that I'm asking this ridiculously early (since SF hasn't even came out!), but with the new feature of the Lost Zone, where is it located? Or do you just set the cards in the Lost Zone away from the field anywhere you like? If anyone has the answer, I'd be grateful to hear it.

I think they go next to your prize, and, (as you certainly know) they are banished for the rest of the game...
I don't actually feally know.

So I take it that there's no official area for a Lost Zone currently.

I don't think that matters much, Yu-Gi-Oh players would be familiar with this concept, I think its similar to 'remove the card from play' in Yu-Gi-Oh only its called a more classy 'Lost Zone'. Perhaps there may be more cards in the future which can affect the 'Lost Zone', but so far it seems to be unique to the DP legendaries.

yup,. no ruling as of yet, BUT I would venture to say it would be on the prize side, as we dont want confusion as to the discard pile and lost zone.

I really don't think it will matter much where's the cards sent to the Lost Zone are placed (so long as it's away from the playing field). But when the mechanic was showcased on Pokemon Sunday, the removed cards were shown next to the prizes.

They just go out anywhere out of the game mat. Or it's just yea, that, because its out of the game mat.

I don't know, but when SF comes out, we will all definately understand. Enjoy!

I'd say that's about as official as it gets.

Lost Zone Giratina is highly unlikely to be in Stormfront. They will hold it and Shaymin until the movie is released in North America, just like they did with Darkrai and the other new Pokemon from that movie.

But then, Yu-Gi-Oh has the way more classy Graveyard than our puny "discard pile", so it kinda evens out.
I also think it will be used in the same way as the YGO removed from play zone though. I also think there will be certain cards in the near future that specifically target cards in the Lost Zone (Return from a different dimension, lol) so I wouldn't call it "removed for the rest of the game" just yet.

I better hope not.

YGO had focused on the "out of play" area as if it was a second discard pile.

Lost Zone cards should remain lost in my opinion.
