Pokemon: (28)
4-4 Cinccino (PD)
3-2-2 Vileplume (UD)
2-2 Roserade (UL)
2-2 Sunflora (HG)
3x Virizion (Red collection)
1x Shaymin-EX (PD)
1x Shaymin (UL)
Trainers: (14)
4x Professor Oak's new theory
4x Cheren
2x Interviewer's Questions
2x Pokemon Collector
2x Professor Elm
Energy: (18)
10x Grass energy
4x Double colorless energy
4x Rainbow energy
Strategy:
Sunflora tech helps get other techs out faster. Vileplume trainer locks (goodbye pokemon catcher) while roserade uses it's ability to confuse (and poison with rainbow energy) the opponent. An awesome strength of this deck is that the main fighter, Cinccino, has the ability glossy coat, which means a 50% chance of avoiding damage, and 75% when the opponent is confused. And it's not lacking in damage either, once it gets warmed up cincinno is doing 100 damage alone, 120 with poison, and a possible 150 with a flip. The single Shaymin-EX seems an obvious card to accompany any grass deck, simply because when used as your last pokemon, it comes out with a whopping 180 damage, able to OHKO anything released so far, and the double prize is rendered meaningless when you only have 1 prize left anyway. The Shaymin (UL) is useful for getting the late game energies off of Roserade and onto Cincinno or Shaymin-EX (or both!). The virizion helps when the deck the deck is hurting, it usually stalls at least two turns and if it's in play the double draw attack is usually what you need anyway. I'm thinking Virizion will also help me fight off fighting types Cincinno is weak to, with a decent attack and low energy cost. I'm wondering if Tornadus would be more effective than Virizion, as it can draw off energy from Roserade and is resistant to fighting.
I would love some feedback, especially about potential weaknesses to the deck. And would I do better with other support cards?
Any constructive criticism is appreciated!
