Ruling New Ex Pokemon

My question is, what with the new ex pokemon coming out that are basics, like mewtwo,kyurem,reshiram etc. Do they count as basics? or ex ? how will we search for them? Becaus ei noticed the ex pokemon that are basics in the set with nothing to search for them in the entire set.

On the top left of the card, the Pokemon-EX do say they are Basic Pokemon (at least, the ones released so far do). You can search for them with cards like Pokemon Collector.
