Japan will be holding its annual “Extra Battle Day” tournaments on January 1st. These are Expanded tournaments held every year at Pokemon Card Gym events.
Like previous years, all participants will receive a new alternate art promo (Irida) as well as one promo booster pack containing reprinted cards from previous eras.
Each booster pack will contain one of twelve promo cards from the Expanded format, each with the “Extra Battle Day” stamp. These promos are reprints with “SV-P” numbering despite releasing as long ago as the Black & White era.
