new player, need deck help

Hello all like the subject says I'm new to the game, well i played like 10 years ago so i only remember the old school cards. I'm wanting to play and maybe get into tournaments again eventually, but for now just need help with deck idea's. I bought A TON!!!!!! of HG SS, and HS Unleashed packs and all the theme decks to go with it. I have a few of the Arceus boosters and some Platinum as well. I really don't have a favorite type to play with so i'm open to all suggestions you all are willing to give. I have a hand full of primes like

1 Ursaring
1 Donphan
1 Lanturn
2 Feraligatr
2 Meganium
2 Tyranitar
3 Typhlosion
3 Ampharos
2 Kingdra
4 Crobat
4 Blissey
and i have some legends as well
1 Complete Lugia
2 Complete Ho oh
2 Complete Raikou and Suicune
2 Complete Entei and Raikou

and a few of the other good cards I see people talk about a lot like

6 Rare Candy
6 DCE
6 Pokemon Collector
6 fishermen

and so on. So any and all help would be great thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you all soon!!!
 
....it's hard to figure out the construction of a deck based off of a bunch of prime Pokemon and a few trainer's and energy. if you need help constructing a deck, the best to suggest is to look at the deck's in fix my deck or you can learn basic mechanic's by taking a view of the jwittz's vid's http://www.youtube.com/user/TheJWittz . cya
