okay. I have a scramble energy and here is what is saids

"Scramble Energy can be attached only to an Evolved Pokemon (excluding Pokemon-Ex). Scramble Energy provides (Colorless) Energy. While in play, if you have more Prize cards left than you're opponent, Scramble Energy provides every type of Energy but provides only 3 in any combination at a time. If the Pokemon Scramble Energy is attached to isn't an Evolved Pokemon (or evolves into Pokemon-ex) discard Scramble Energy"

So I attach Scramble energy to my evolved pokemon and I have more prize cards left so it then provides three of any type of energy. When I take the lead with it attached, what happens? If it goes back to counting as 1 colorless, how come so many of you recommend it? You don't intend to have more prize cards left than your opponent very often do you? I just want to make sure I'm using it correctly and want to know if it's worth it.

New Question: What do I do in a case where I need to count my energies for an attack (as in Gardevoir EX SS and Espeon SS for example) They do say count the energy not energy cards. Does is count as three when I count my energies or 1. Or does it depend on the prize cards?

RE: Scramble Emergy question

Yup, it returns back to one colorless. It depands on your deck strategy. If your deck have cards that can control number of prizes such as electrode ex, then put 3 or max up. Otherwise, 2 to 3 would be enough, IMO.:D

RE: Scramble Emergy question

it provide only colorless energy when u have less prizes left coz it said when u have more prize card left then it provide 3 of every type think u have 3 prizes left and ur opponent 2 then u attach scramble and ko his pokemon then both u left 2-2 so when u have equal or less prizes left it provide colorless hope u understand

When an attack calls for Energy cards, Scramble Energy adds one to that count.

When an attack calls for number of Energy, the amount Scramble adds to the total depends on the Prize count. If you're losing, it adds 3 (since it provides 3 Energy). If you're tied or winning, it only adds 1.

it counts as 3 because even though its only 1 card, it provide 3 kinds

Only if you're losing. If you're tied or winning, Scramble only provides [C], so you only get credit for one Energy instead of three.
