New Techs: Rising Rivals Edition

Flygon: Most see this as a new archetype deck, but a 1-1 line can serve as a great tech, given room, to give basically anything free retreat other than flygon. Kinda cool and takes up less space than weavile/palkia lvX if you already carry some rare candies.

Beedrill: Under the same roof as flygon- this little guy seems to be delegated to speedrill decks, but he could make a nice 1-1 tech in any grass deck to help its ability to find pokemon.

Nidoking: His pokebody let's you get some extra damage on the opponent whenever you get attacked. Combine with any other damage addition stadiums/abilities as you wish, though keep in mind the affect cannot be stacked.

Nidoqueen: Extra healing lets you last longer, can't be stacked.

Machamp GL: Mostly his second attack that lets you shuffle the defending pokemon back into their deck (assuming they have a bench), but takes a lot of energy to build up. If you have room though, it's a nice scare tactic somewhat similar to dusknoir DP.

Infernape 4 lvX: Forces your opponent to switch anytime during your turn. A lvX tech can be a little tricky sometimes, but the free retreat helps and the benefits can be great.

Washtom: Need a quick heal? Wash rotom is your dude. One energy, 3 counters off every poke on your bench for an attack.

Ditto will be come very important if Flygon gets as big as everyone thinks. It can also work in any deck that runs Rainbow Energy.

Weezing will be nice. It can do a nice chunk of damage in the first few turns, risk free.

Just thinking that not everyone sees Flint's Spirit + Bronzong G as a possible energy acceleration deck for energy heavy decks.

Which doesnt matter as flygon doesnt have a retreat cost anyway, but other colorless pokemon wont get the retreat benefit.
Arcanine??or Hippowdon??

I don't know what you're talking about. Dont' use it with colorless pokemon? Use one of the MANY colorless energies available?

Flygon's retreat isn't important here?

I see a HUEDGE energy accel
^ a few sum1 said Machamp GL is nice, bit it takes up too much energy.

Watch:

Energy --> Flint's --> Brongzong g --> Energy Gain

A bit un-likely but you just got it 1st turn :D

I personally see Rampardos GL as an under-considered TecH, maybe in combination with Manectric. 1 {F} Energy (+ Energy Gain) for Max 150 damage output on your opponent? Yes please.

Too bad it's all flippy, and it can hurt you as well. :(

Also, I doubt it'll actually be TecH'ed, but maybe Electrode G can be considered as a TecH, either to spread or to go for a finish, or heck, even go for both! :p
