I bought some Pokemon Crystal boosters, and am confused about which ones are holofoils. I looked at the pokebeach card list images, and some cards I have are holofoils but, according to the list and based on the images, they aren't supposed to be holofoils at all (?). Also, some of the cards have  exCrystal Guardians written in the lower right hand image on the card. I also have two cards where the names and HP points are written in itallic gold. Can someone please explain this to me? Thanks! Also, what is a "reverse holo"?

Reverse Holo: Italic Gold.

The other holos are just the singular card in every booster that's shiny and has the set name on them. Not sure what they're called though.

For holo rare cards, if you get a reverse holo card, you will see it's name is in Italic gold colour together with a logo of the edition at the bottom right side of the picture. For example:
001.jpg

For non holo rare cards, if you get a reverse holo, you will see it's name is in Italic gold colour, the picture will have the holo effects & with a logo of the edition at the bottom right side of the picture. For example:
028.jpg

You can also distinguish it by that little * at the bottom. If that one shines a bit, its from a Holo Rare. If not, its from a Normal Rare.

ive noticed that there is black star(rare)silver star(rarer), but my charizard d is gold star (v.rarer)

Black Star = Non Holo Rare Card & Holo Card
Silver Star = Reverse Holo Card & pokemon-ex
Gold Star = pokemon star

Thanks everyone, that helps a lot! So does every card have a reverse holo (including commons and uncommons), or are there some cards that are only reverse holos?

The term "reverse holo" stems from the alternate foil cards from old sets; instead of the picture being holographic, the rest of the card was foil instead and the picture was not. Nowadays it's used to describe cards that are not their normal holofoil style (or lack thereof).

Both holofoil rares and non-holo rares will have their names in gold letters, a different foil design, and the set logo on the art, usually in the lower right hand corner. If the logo would cover up the art, the logo is put in the lower left corner instead (Lapras from Legend Maker is a good example of this).

Uncommon and common reverse holo cards will have a holofoil design (not the same as normal holofoil cards), and the set logo, but the name will not be in gold. It will be black, like the normal version of all cards.

There are no cards that are only reverse holo. All cards in a set can be reverse holo, with the exception of Pokémon-ex, Pokémon *, and the boxtopper (if there is one). Those cards are always holo.

Boxtopper: Essentallly, what it says. A card that "tops" a box. Buy a box, get the card for extra.

*: REALLY REALLY REALLY (continues for 5 minutes) rare cards that are almost useless but are incrediably expensive. ONly one per deck though. And all basic, no matter what card it is.

A box topper is often distinguishable by the set number. For example: Pikachu Delta from Legend Maker has 93/92. Only Box Toppers have a higher number on the left as on the right.
