Hi, I was wondering:

Does anybody know what the Nidoking and Nidoqueen from BET do? I have a general idea but I can only find scans that don't have translations.
Thanks!

King's body is when your active pokemon gets damaged by an attack from teh opponet, put 2 damage counters on teh attacking poke. Queen's body is that it removes 1 damage counter from all of your pokemon in between turns (kills spread decks). I forget the attacks but I think king's are meh and queen's are okay.

Thanks, the Body's are mostly what I want ed to know. I think the Queen does 40 for 1, and 50+10 for each bench. Not sure about King though. I'm so making a new Monarchy.
BTW, where did you find Translations? or do you know Japanese? XD

King does 60 for 3 energy, but if your opponent has any benched Pokemon, it does 30 to active and 30 to 1 benched Pokemon. His second attack, Giga Horn, does 100 damage for 4 energy. You flip two coins, if both of them are tails, the attack does nothing. Nidoking probably won't be that good because of Shiftry BET.

Its the body that can be very interesting, particulary that of Nidoqueen. A constant heal for all can be something pretty lethal if you play it with the right Pokes. Ofcourse, Dialga G will be a pain in the behind.

Hmm, Yeah Dialga G would stop it in it's tracks. However, I still think it might be pretty good, especially with the Queen SW's Body.

Poke-Body: Motherly Warmth
In between turns, remove 1 damage counter from each of your Pokemon. If you already have another Motherly Warmth in effect, this Body doesn't work.
[P] Mega Punch: 40 damage.
[P][C][C] Hustle Tail: Does 50 damage plus an additional 10 damage times the number of your opponent's Benched Pokemon.

Poke-Body: Territorial
When your Active Pokemon is damaged by an opponent's attack, place 2 damage counters on the attacking Pokemon. Even if you have multiple Territorial Bodies in effect at the same time, the number of damage counters placed is 2.

[C][C][C] Power Hurl: 60 damage. If your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, this attack's base damage is 30. In this case, this attack also does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon.
[F][C][C][C] Giga Horn: 100 damage. Flip 2 coins, if both are tails this attack fails.

I saved most of the translations in case the site ever went down.

But hmm...

I've been considering playing Nidoqueen when it comes out, just gotta find a partner for it.

Say AMT, you know that Zam 4 LVX? It moves damage counters but only amongst your SP Pokes or ALL your pokes? Because if all, he could spread damage around, letting you heal 60 a turn all over your field with Nidoqueen.

Wow, that would be good. How would that work, though? I'm not sure I understand... I know Alakazam moves damage, but how do you heal that much?

Unfortunately, Alakazam 4 LV.X only moves damage counters from SP to SP.

Poke-Power: Damage Switch
As many times as you like during your turn, you may move a damage counter from 1 of your SP Pokemon to another of your SP Pokemon. This Power can't be used if Alakazam is affected by a Special Condition.

[P][P][C] Mind Shock 50
This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance.

I think it would be worth your while to include a Zangoose tech in the deck, if you did play it.
Since Dialga G Lx.X wrecks the Bodies, you could send him up and draw out Dialga. Then send up Nidoking to kill it, provided they don't switch out.

I just thought I'd mention a way to deal with Dialga that I thought up on the spot.
Prolly better ways, but we'll see.

The deck's sure to get some play, but it's too soon to tell what else will be in the format.
Especially since no one can look at them at the moment to see what they WANT to play. :|

Now that would be a good idea. 20 from Zangoose and then 100 from Nidoking huh? Yeah, I like your thinking.

Now to fix that little problem of Dialga having Psychic resistance.

Wait....
Crap. How much? 20.
How perfect...

There's always PP....
But that would take up deck space and be too hard to get quickly enough to jump it.
Another idea, another dismay...

Well, since Nidoking is Fighting, the Psychic Resistance isn't much trouble.

^ Yeah, I was wondering about that. I think that Dialga G is probably not a problem. It's easily brought out and Slaughtered...

Nvm.
Thanks again...Apparently I (and Lou?) were too unobservant to notice that.
Clears it up. Zangoose should prove useful.
