Hey guys! I have an upcoming expanded tournament with only 30 mins per round (1 game per round), probably with 25-35 participants. The thing is, I don't know what deck to play. What deck would be suitable in the said tournament format? I'm considering Yveltal/Maxie's or Night March. Usually, the decks that are being played in my area are: Mega Rayquaza, Yveltal/Maxie's, some Trevenant, some Night March, and some Volcanion.

Thank you all!

I would say Night March because it is as consistent a deck as they come. Most people *still* don't tech against it using Karen and without that tech, NM is capable of destroying almost anything it sees. Also given the lists you expect to see, I think it is the easier of the decks to succeed against anything except Trevenant.

Also, some people tech Maxies into Night March. Not sure I would do it, but if you are undecided you could always test that variant as well :)

NM has a favourable matchup against both M ray and Yveltal/Maxies since joltik can hit for weakness and take knockouts much faster than ray/yveltal. The only deck NM could struggle with is trev since t1 item lock can completely stop the deck from setting up, but if you can get around it with cards like hex maniac, you should be fine.
But if you are unsure on what the biggest deck are, yveltal/maxies has even to favourable matchups against all of them decks.

It is also harder to play well against all those match ups. Unless you have played that deck extensively, it is harder to pick up and play than Night March. Finally, it is less consistent than Night March and in a best of 1, you want the most consistent deck you can get. But yeah, it is virtually an auto loss to Trev.
