Hey all! As most of you know, Flareon/Vespiquen is one of the top decks in expanded because it can start OHKO-ing anything in sight by turn 2 while creating a favorable prize trade. This got me thinking. Night March can do everything Flareon/Vespiquen can do, but even better because you don't need to evolve and therefore you cant start hitting even faster. The only thing that makes Flareon better is because it has a better prize trade because Night March needs Mew EX. But Night March thrives in standard without Mew EX, so why can't it do without it in expanded? Removing it would also eliminate the possibility of your opponent nabbing 2 prizes of one of your attackers. This is just my opinion. I would like to hear what you all think of running night march without mew EX.

A few reasons....
1. Only DCE
Night March would most likely (haven't tested) not work with having to attach 2 Energies per attacker. Thus, DCE are your main choice. Once all 4 are gone, GG (Think about Xerosic/Enhanced!). Mew EX only needs 1 basic (copy Joltik's Night March + Dimension Valley). It's Stardust Jirachi-proof and in a pinch, you can charge up Joltik or Pumpkaboo with the basic energy too.
2. More HP
Lasers kill Joltik, and Pumpkaboo requires a stadium to attack and additionally has not much HP either. (Mew can still use DCE with Dimension Valley out of play)
Mew has 120 HP, which usually requires them to put up an EX vs most decks that aren't the mirror or Vespquien to OHKO. (You'll at least revenge KO for 2 prizes.)
Like you said, Mew does give up 2 prizes, but being able to use Basic Energy to charge it up in one turn, and its increased HP make it really good for the extra prize.

Lasers will only really be the reason that will pull a Mew-less Night March back, especially as they can donk you. In those decks, it could be a good option to run Mew-EX, but time of when you play it on the bench would be very important. You wouldn't want to just play it whenever.
