Really? I thought the Blackbelts were just a generic trainer class in most of the games. They do know most of those Blackbelts had names? They could put them on the card like the professor's.
Actually why aren't we doing this for Hau/Hop/Friends in Paldea/Friends in Galar/Nemona?

9 is indeed a lot. I could see 2 in main sets, 1-2 in some battle deck/trainer toolkit, etc. and 1-2 in some collection box together with some ex and another Pokémon like they had in the Roaring Moon/Iron Valiant boxes. But even then, there are 3-5 left. Some maybe we won't see all of them. That's actually kinda cool not gonna lie, each design is based off their respective generation.
No clue like those 9 researchers how they'll distrubute these in the US if at all.
There's usually one NPC in the game somewhere remote that is THE Blackbelt.Really? I thought the Blackbelts were just a generic trainer class in most of the games.
Because "Draw 3" is so bad that it makes no sense to limit how many you can put in a deck, there is no need to unify them under the same name like Research and Boss. They do know most of those Blackbelts had names? They could put them on the card like the professor's.

Rival, Trainer, Supporter. Draw 3. You can have as many copies of Rival in your deck as you wish.Because "Draw 3" is so bad that it makes no sense to limit how many you can put in a deck, there is no need to unify them under the same name like Research and Boss.
Why create confusion for players changing a fundamental rule of the game (4-of cards max except Basic Energy) for a card that is not good or see actual play when there is no need?Rival, Trainer, Supporter. Draw 3. You can have as many copies of Rival in your deck as you wish.
they have done this before, Arceus, and Unown for an example of cards with different names that are considered the same card. I don't think this is hard. Plague Rats isn't confusing. Why create confusion for players changing a fundamental rule of the game (4-of cards max except Basic Energy) for a card that is not good or see actual play when there is no need?
