Having RBY on 3ds is kind of neat, I've been wanting to replay yellow but not wanting to worry about the mass need of batteries. And trading over wireless is a good thing, I don't know where my link cable is.

Still, I have to say it's not the news I (and I suspect many others) were hoping for.
 
I'm honestly not surprised RBY are being imported to the Virtual Console, but I was honestly expecting a Z announcement somewhere in the Direct. At least we got some release dates for FE: Fates though.

Funny thing is I still have my link cable, as well as the transfer cable for the gamecube games.
