You're better off waiting for the 3DS in case there are some 3DS exclusive games not compataible with the DSI. I don't know if stuff like the new Mario Kart and Ocarina of Time remake will work on DSI for example.

All 3DS games announced (like those listed and many more) will be exclusive to the 3DS.

dmaster out.

The reason why I want it is because that...

1. It can play nes and snes games.
2. I think it's going to have its own store.
3. Mario kart and other wonderful games.
4. Taking 3D pics.
5. You can turn it to non 3-D
6. Once again, the games.

Ah ok, I thought that was the case. Definately best to wait for the 3DS then.

Seriously? It's gonna have a VC or something? I haven't heard anything about this so far but it sounds interesting if it's true..

No, a VC for the 3DS hasn't been confirmed. But it's a logical assumption to make. Nintendo doesn't like to let their games fade into the past as if they never were.

The Wii had a VC that went from Nintendo's beginning up to two consoles back (N64). Applying that logic to the 3DS and assuming handhelds will be included (since there were no handheld games on Wii VC), you have Gameboy and GBA games (GBA is two handheld systems back, just as N64 was two consoles back from Wii), as well as possible NES and SNES games. Since the Wii is still going though, I kinda doubt there will be NES and SNES games. But GB and GBA games are very likely.

Anyhow, the main reason I want the 3DS is for the games, of course. Paper Mario, Mario Kart, OoT 3DS, Professor Layton, Animal Crossing, the list goes on and on <3

Not a VC neccessarily, but a compilation (or individual carts) of NES and SNES games. In 3D.
