XY Nintendo eShop Unaccessable/Problems While Downloading Game

Does anyone else having difficulties while accessing nintendo eshop or trying to download a game through it.

I kept getting error
005-4040 or
005-4222
And even
005-4720

Is it because of some maintenance or the flood of people trying to access the shop due to the oras demo?

Since there were so many people trying to download the demo the server probably crashed. Lots of people were experiencing difficulties trying to download it, so it's best to try downloading when people are most likely offline.

Usually in the late evening around 10 PM is the best time to download especially on Sunday night because everyone will be asleep. Well most people will anyway.:)
