If you don't know what a Nintendo franchise is, think along the lines of Mario, Pokemon, Kid Icarus, Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, and many others I'm probably forgetting. Which is your favorite game of the Nintendo franchise?

Also give a reason for your answer :p

Zelda. I feel confident when I buy a Zelda game that I'm getting a quality product (unless it's for DS).

Couldn't resist.

Honestly many Nintendo franchises you could say very very similar things about them. It's very hard to put just one, but I'd have to agree with The Legend of Zelda as well. Mario is high up there, but Zelda just oozes quality and fun in practically every single title.

I absolutely love Mother and I don't think I've ever been dissatisfied with a Kirby game, though I love Mario and Zelda as well.

and I love Metroid, but...Other M...*weeps silently*

(also F-Zero and Super Smash Bros. are consistently enjoyable!)
 
Basically all Nintendo things. They're usually good. So I pretty much agree with the above people. Nintendo isn't like Sonic for example when you don't know whether it's going to be good, or garbage (again)
 
I really love the Donkey Kong games, they're always really good. The Arcade ones, the Country games, 64 is one of my favorite games evah, even most of the spin-offs in the Gamecube/Wii era are pretty good. I also really love Pikmin. There's a really good balance of strategy and skill. But I love all the others too. Mario, Zelda, Kirby, not Pokemon games, Star Fox (Ya know, if they actually made any).
 
Zelda for sure...A Link to the Past was one of the first games I ever played, so the entire series holds a special place in my heart.
 
I'm taking a liking to Fire Emblem, and more recently I have taken interest in Pikmin and Mother.
And obviously the big three: Mario, Pokemon and Zelda.

And...H-How could I forget Golden Sun?

My life is Pokemon, without it I am a very boring man! :p

My #1 favorite is Pokemon, #2 is Zelda, #3 is Mario and #4 is Kirby.
 
Most Nintendo games have been so bad recently, and yes I am referring to Mario, Zelda and Pokemon AND Metroid.

Super Smash Bros. has never let me down but ignoring the recent games and looking at the time spent with them, probably Pokemon or Metroid or Zelda.

Zelda is on the top of my list, they hold the plot line and mix of action and charm that really inspires me to buy moar of them. Pikmin is a close second due to the sheer uniqueness of everything about the game.
