Well, I guess it kind of makes sense...Isshu is farther away from any of the other regions, so I don't expect to be seeing very many (if any) familiar faces at all in the games.
 
I've always thought we haven't had nurse joy since Pokemon Red/blue.....and maybe gold/silver.

As soon as Chansey disappeared I started believing it wasn't nurse joy.
 
It's a completely new region, I don't see why she would be there. Probably all new trainers as well.

i know this is the wrong thread for this but....you forgot about the dream world. this could give you access to luvdisc. and just because it hasnt been confirmed to be luvdisc's evo(YET) doesnt mean it wont be confirmed soon. and lastly, LOOK AT IT, just by its appearence, how can it not be related to luvdisc? a pink heart shaped water type fish? and abilities have nothing to do with it being an evo or not, look and nummel and camerupt, none of their abilities match
 
I'm personally looking forward to new ones lol. Though nothing beats the "comfy shorts" kid in R/B :p

But yes, its very unfortunate, Nurse Joy has moved on to bigger and better things. :(
 
I'm glad their isn't a nurse joy in every pokemon center anymore. Maybe they will have a different nurse for each pokemon center you visit

Yes, with all the new details they're adding into black and white it wouldn't surprise me if they did this, but it also wouldn't surprise me if they just have the same "new" nurse for every town either.

Erm, how exactly does having different nurses in Pokecenters make the game more fun and entertaining?
 
In the game theres no point if the Nurse changes. You never know it might just be a new hairstyle or something. The Nurse Joy in the game just stand behind the counter and does nothing but cure your Pokemon. It doesn't really matter if the Nurse has changed in the game, because she doesn't have a big role in the storyline. We've seen the nurses in all of the games. If the Nurse changed in the anime then that would be different.
 
Now that I think about it, this actually could be a good thing. Potentially different girls at each Pokemon Center? Interesting ^_^
