BW/BW2 No region on imported Pokemon...why?

Hey all. Been awhile since I posted, but I thought this would be the best place to ask this question.

I recently imported my Shiny Absol from Soulsilver to my Pokemon White game, and I noticed that the location it says it's from is blank. I've imported others and they all say something like "Shinnoh" or "Hoenn," but Absol's is just a bunch of hashed lines. Anyone else encounter this?

I can tell you now that he's not hacked. I got extremely lucky finding him (he is, after all, one of my favs) but I don't understand why his location is blank. He's the only one that has this too. I think I found him in Sapphire a long time ago, and he was imported from Diamond, then to Soulsilver, then to White. Is it because he's imported from a GBA game?

My main reason for asking is because I'm afraid it'll flag him as a hacked Pokemon if I take him online.
 
Normally when a Pokemon arrives from Hoenn, the location it's met as will show up as "Hoenn", and below that it'll say "Apparently arrived at level __ after a long travel through time". The scenario that you have described, though, I have never seen - and I doubt it's something that's supposed to happen.
Is it possible you could show a snapshot of this? And where did you originally find or hatch the Absol?
 
The events that went on in the Hoenn region happened before the events of Red and Blue. The events of Johto happened at the same time as the events in Sinnoh, and three years after Red and Blue. The events in Unova take place just after the events in Sinnoh. Sounds complicated yes, but true.

Thus, Hoenn and Kanto Pokemon traveled far in time to catch up with Unova. Also, Black and White probably store no data of the 3rd Generation games...
 
@Slickmario: It will still say that it was met in Hoenn. I've got the following data on my shiny Crobat:

Hardy nature - 3/31/2011 - Hoenn
Apparently arrived at level 36 after a long travel through time.
Very finicky.

I know that I caught it at level 35 in Emerald, leveled it up once, migrated it to Diamond, then transferred it again to Black (on March 31st). The region should be there right below the date. Since it isn't...I'm not sure what to think of it as.
