No reverse holo in packs???

In my prerelease today, I got two packs at the end, after the main rounds. (like normal) In these packs, however, there were no reverse holos in either one. I got a Hydreigon (the bad one) and a Gyarados. Neither were RH. In the second pack, I got a Dustox and a Garbodor. Neither were RH. It was weird, so I showed my fiancee, who also did not get any RH's in her extra two packs. I asked around, and lots of people had not gotten RH's. Has this happened to anyone else???

That's really weird.

I just went to check and I had 8 Reverses so I got all mine.

Check if your cards are fake. You never know what could have happened.

It's a prerelease so I highly doubt that happened.

It's probably just another of TPCi's infamous packing errors. You should file a support ticket on the website and see what they have to say about it.

This is weird. I have heard of this before. It is weird. TPC should at least send you 2 more pre release packs as compensation for their mistake. If there is enough complaints they can be fined for not properly producing the cards as they are supposed to be.:):(

You can sue TPCi for false-advertising and the like because on the packs or online (where ever) it says that you are guaranteed one reverse holo in each pack. So, if you don't get them, then they are falsely guaranteeing. You could actually turn this into a huge ordeal and make out with a good amount :D

You would need to find a lawyer willing to take the case.

You'd also need a Lawyer who won't laugh at a case about Pokemon Cards, and you'll be hard pressed to find one.

I'm about 95% sure that he was trolling.

I watched a Youtube video yesterday where someone else also did not receive a reverse holo in his last two packs. There seem to be a couple of mix ups with these pre-release packs I guess. I'm hoping the one I got to next week has a little too many exs per box. :p

What you need to do is send them an email describing what cards you got and send them pictures of the cards you got in your packs and send them to the company. Make sure you send the pack covers along with the area addresses of your pre rerleases. Also include your name and where you live that way they can either re reimburse you with a gift card or replace your pre release packs. If they give you new packs you would get new cards but they will not be the same but at least they replaced them without question. Make sure you have a parent help you with this if you are under 12 years of age.:)

Do you need to have video evidence of the packs not having reverse holo cards in them? You would think that it would be easy to claim that you didn't receive reverse holos, the right number of cards, or something similar if you didn't have that type of evidence

Yeah you might want to post this on Youtube that way they will get enough evidence that they messed up. If they see enough video evidence or even just pictures as proof they will eventually get the message and refund your money or give you new packs or even a gift card or replace everything you got at the pre release or even give you a display box of the set. That would pay for it and then some. Most display boxes run about $70.00 XD so that would definitely pay for itself if they did that for the mistake XD.:)

What most companies will do in case of any sort of problem or claim is that they will just refund you your money and/or replace your items.

As for this specific incident, I think they will do one of two things. They will either not believe you at all and dismiss your case because it is very easy to fake this sort of thing. Or they will be understanding and just send you new packs. I don't see them giving you a whole new box or anything of the sort because it's really unneeded.

So just message them saying you received packs at your prerelease event that contained no Reverse Holos, and the conversation will progress from there.

It's probably not necessary to post the video on YouTube in order to show that you have evidence; you would do fine to send the video straight to TPCi if they requested it.

It sure would be nice to get an entire box for a mistake found in two packs :p, however I think that they would compensate you for the amount of the two packs or send you two new packs. I've never experienced this before though so this is just my opinion!

This happens more than you think at PRs, there was the grey FA Zekrom, and multiple regular rares, but it isn't really that bad is it?

If you pay around $30.00 to get in the door a display box of the set would be more appropriate because You only get a few packs that don't even cost that much per pack. Most packs usually cost $3.29-$4.00 and that is not quite the price of the entry fee. A display box of the set would be better than just a couple of packs that way it covers the cost of the entry fee the 6 packs or so that you get and then you get roughly 18 packs for free if you think about it. This is the best way to refund a ruined pre-release. If I were CEO of the company this is what I would do in this situation XD.:)
