Yush, because everybody's doing it and I finally got the chance to restart my game!
Rules~
~Pokemon must follow a nickname pattern
~If Pokemon faints, it can never be used again (Because I won't be able to release them, they're going in the box till I beat the game. I get attached to the pixels. Don't judge me)
~Can only catch the first Pokemon to appear in the area
~Can catch Shinys or Legendarys, just can't be used
~No use of held items(never make 'em hold 'um anyways XD)
~No use of Master balls
That's it. Shouldn't be all to hard for me.
Day 1
I started out the day by trying to get a Shiny Starter, soft resetting and now I'm up to 150(?). Nothing to exciting. If I don't get a Shiny Starter,my friend gets the pencil I'm getting a female Totodile, and that's that.
I have also decided to name my Pokemon, after Vocaloid Characters. And yes, you can only be me to understand what that means. XD
Day 2
Well, I gave up on the Shiny Starter, so I tried for a Female Totodile, but didn't get one after at least 5 times. So I got my Male Totodile, nammed him Meikuo.
Crap, just looked up Meikuo and realized I had that and Kaito mixed up. Ohwell, to da namerater!
So, after going to Mr. Pokemon, Battling my newly nammed rival, Kyle, I got my Pokeballs from Ethan, and decided I would be cheating by catching a Pokemon on the first route, due to the fact I had already seen Pokemon there.
But after going back through Cherrygrove, I ran into a Male Caterpie. And I was like, "Shoot, already found Pokemon on this route..." But then factored in, "But I didn't have Pokeballs at the time..." So I let my level 10 Meikuo decide. I had him use scratch, and Caterpie was down to the red. "Alright, Rin, you are mine!" I already had my name for the Male Caterpie. So I caught the Caterpie, and he seemed pretty decent.
Next route~Male Pidgey. Well, I can't name a Male Pidgey "Miku", so I passed up the offer and let Rin make fast work of it.
Dark Cave~Male Geodude. I didn't want the Geodude my game tried to give me earlier, so I passed that deal up, and Geodude was smothered by Meikuo.
Day 3
I decide I want a Mareep, or a Bellsprout, so I go to the next route, after Violet City, went into the grass, and BANG! Ratatta. Had to catch 'im, though. Couldn't pass up their uber Hyper Fang when they evolve. I've actually become quite attached to "Note", and as said on the internet, "The purple Vocaloid".
Looking for my Bellsprout, or what I want more, Gastly, I head to the Sprout Tower. Second floor, Ratatta.
Goddang it. Ratattas make Nuzlockes 10X harder.
Well, my team is comming along pretty good, so far. I've used Butterfree before, and by experience, they're amazing if you have a fast one. Never have I used Totodile, though, or Ratatta. Though, I remember my neighbor teaching a Feraligatr Ice Punch... That will most likely come in handy. I'm thinking of switching Rin for a Spinarak, but, I'm pretty sure Ariados can't learn the powders/spores. I REALLY don't want a Sudowoodo, but I may have to take it, though I may keep him in the PC until I decide he's needed.
Day 4
Grinded a little more, and Rin evolved into a Butterfree, finally. Now, I finally get a real attack move-Confusion. Note and Meikuo also leveled. After the Sprout Tower, I got a phone call from Joey. Like always, "My Ratatta is like, in the top percentage of Ratattas!". Goddang it Joey, stop killing the moment.
Please that my three Pokemon were over level 10, I went to challenge Falkner, the hacker. Even with Rin at level 11, I was still cautious, so he didn't battle in the flying-pokemon gym. Note easily bit up Falkner's Pidgey, but when Pidgeotto came, I swapped out to Meikuo, who had a better chance of winning. Falkner could of at least hacked some moves into Pidgeotto as well, because all I got from him roost, then 5million gusts. Good thing I had 14 potions. Rage, Gust, Rage, Potion. That's all that went on with the irritating, long, battle. Anyways, I finally beat him, claimed my Gym Badge after 3 hours of grinding (yes, not all at once, but in my time, I saw 3 hours), and my Roost. "Yeah, I'm gonna use this," I muttered, thinking about selling it. Heading down the the next route, I made quick experience off a lass and a Fisherman, with Rin's new Confusion.
