So, with the announcement of the new Noivern-GX in SM3, I thought a deck including it plus the Noivern from Furious Fists and the BREAK evolution might be quite exciting. Consistency is, however, a problem when you are evolving something into two different cards. And finally, Pokémon Ranger to counter those pesky Glaceons.

I will attempt to explain some of my choices. The Captivating Poké Puff is so more Pokémon are damaged by Boomburst, and so you can draw more cards with Colress. Evosoda is because you really don't want to be stuck with Noibat in the Active with no Noivern. Scramble Switch is because you really want to conserve your energy in this type of deck.

Yveltal Archeops is one of the most played decks in expanded, you should prepare your deck to play in front of an archeops.

This is the reason I've included one copy of Hex. If it's prized, I agree, trouble. Maybe a refinement (addition of Rotom Dex) would be in order.
