is there such a thing? ive found one on ebay and i wasnt sure of its authenticity or not, so i looked it up. on this site : http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=193056

it says that there were some that were printed without the holo on them. can anyone confirm/help me with this?
 
The foil not being printed on it doesn't make sense because the foil part of the foil cards is sandwiched between the two pieces of stock used to construct the card. Regular cards use a black paper between the two pieces and generally fake cards don't have a center filler.
 
It would be helpful for you to post a picture. If we saw it, we would be able to confirm its authenticity more accurately.

It might be a mistake, but it is very, very, very rare for it to happen, so there is a large chance that it is fake, but post a picture just to be sure.

Most of those types of cards with that description are fake, though.

I got a fake booster box once, and it was filled with non-holo Lv. X cards. Somebody's just trying to make some bank off of some fake, but popular, cards.
