Ruling Noob Question

Ok, so I've just recently started to get back into the Pokemon TCG after leaving for a long time and I need clarification on one of the rules. I was wondering, are you allowed to attack with a pokemon the same turn you evolve it?

Example: On my turn I evolve Growlithe into Arcanine (SW) and I use "Flame Dash", am I still able to use "Inferno Onrush" (attack) that same turn or do I have to wait till my next turn to attack?

I know this seems like a simple question so please don't flame me. Thanks.

-Also I did run a search here and didn't find what I was looking for. Hopefully someone will be able to help me.
 
Just a heads up for next time, post questions like this in the "TCG questions" section.

Anyway. To awnser your question. You *CAN* attack with a Pokemon once you evolve it. And in your example, "Flame Dash" is not an attack. It is a PokePower. So yes, you *CAN* use Flame Dash and then use Inferno Onrush. (And evolve into Arcanine that same turn.)
 
You can use more than one power per turn, but can only attack once...

** You can use powers AND attack once in the same turn though
