Sorry if I'm posting back-to-back threads!
Ok, so when any card says "Search Your Deck," do you:
1. Pick up the top card of your deck, and if it doesn't meet the requirements of the card that told you to search, you pick up the next card and rerpeat until you find the first card that meets the requirements.
2. Pick up your deck and pick any card that meets the requirements.
I had always played with 2. but my friend came over and said you play with 1. and through me for a loop lol

The second one. You pick up your whole deck and search it for the card that meets the requirement of the card you played.

Ex:
You play Great Ball. Pick up your deck, search your deck for a basic Pokemon (Excluding Ex) and put it on your bench.

Hope this helps!

You Reveal Cards Until a card that fufills the requirements is revealed
So 1 For quick ball

If a card says "Reveal cards from your deck until you..." so and so, then that's when you start flipping cards from the top of your deck until you meet the requirements. If a card says "Search your deck for.." so and so, that's when you pick up your deck and search through it for the card you need. Then there are cards like Dusk Ball and Masterball where you take cards from the top (Masterball) or cards from the bottom (Dusk Ball).

Yeah #2 is the correct answer. that person that came up to you and played with #1 should be ashamed of themself!

chairman kaga said if there is no other cards revealed you dont have to shuffle your deck, so could you show each player the bottom card and then take it right out without shuffling?

You are always required to shuffle after a deck search. Period.

But Quick Ball isn't a deck search. It has very specific instructions right on the card. Don't try to cross the two concepts.
