Northamptonshire, UK TCG/VG League!

We are interested in possibly starting up a new league in Northamptonshire, UK. To be precise Wellingborough Town. Mainly due to the reason that the nearest Pokemon TCG League is at least 50 miles away.

However, before proceeding with selecting a venue and contacting the Pokemon Company to set up the league, we just wanted to first do some research on the amount of potential interest and players intereseted.

The league will most likely be run on a weekday afternoon or early evening. The possible location that we are considering will be Wellingborough Library and this is located in the town centre and is therefore very close to free parking and stores and food places.

We would welcome any players of any standard or age, so if there is any interest please comment and reply so we can determine whether or not the idea is worth going ahead with.

I'm interested. When you say VG, do you mean Video Game? I enjoy playing both, but would be extremely interested if you start running Video Game Tournaments. If that's not what VG stands for I apologise.

I have quite a few friends, who play both TCG and VG. So we could pop by now and again.
 
Yeah we would run video game also and may possibly set up some friendly tournaments. We have more interest and knowledge of the TCG but we'll be willing to bring along our DS's and battle too :)

Can you provide us with a rough number of how many people you think will be interested? Thanks :D
 
Not so much a league, but if it was a VG tournament with standard rules I know I could get anything between 5-30 people. It all depends on their location.

TCG is a bit too far for me to travel.
 
Our priority atm is the TCG league but if it is successful, we will definitely look into running tournaments for both the VG and TCG :)

Will be sure to advertise it on the Beach when we have organised one.
