Awesome, didn't know we were having a Cities at BDG(Concord.) I will definitely be there, and I'm pretty much gonna try to make the rest of the Cities in the area as well.

It's very likely that I'll be at those two.
 
ill be at Santa Clara and if Anime 101 organizes one at Morgan Hill ill go there too.

im also going today to Modesto.

btw Blargh were you at Santa Clara during NV prerelease? I got top 2 in Master's that day :roll:D

I went 4-1 in Cities (Masters Division) today at Modesto but missed the bubble because I lost my first game :( (ZPST + Eviolite beat me).

I ran Reshiboar with Badboar. I beat Tyram, CAKE, Kyurem - variant, and DonChamp plus Vileplume.

I believe the top 4 that made the top cut were all Zekrom decks (2 were ZPST plus eviolite). ZPST + Eviolite is a strong deck since eviolite prevents Zekrom from being one-shotted.
 
That's an interesting report in terms of the meta... And I'm sorry you didn't top cut, once I went 3-1 due to a terrible start in the first round and didn't top for the same reason. :/

im actually happy i got out of the 0-1 hole and finished strong at 4-1. but yeah losing your first game really hurts your capacity to reach top cut especially if there are only fewer rounds to play.

i think the card of the day was eviolite. man this item is going to have greater impact in the meta than kyurem, hydreigon, cobalion, and N. perhaps this will mean trainer lock decks will become more popular as a counter to zpst-eviolite.

someone also tried to run a durant mill deck but it got donked by zpst. i didnt see any vileplume-vanilluxe decks today but im sure that's going to show up in santa clara.

gothitelle is a good call because of the proliferation of eviolite and catcher. hopefully you're running 4 rare candies and 4 twins to help you get those goths and reuniclus out quicker.

im torn between my updated reshiboar deck or a rogue deck for this sunday.
 
do you suggest electrode prime? if i use it i have to change my list a lot, but i think the deck will be faster.

electrode prime naturally will make it faster especially if you have twins in your hand =)
