notable cards for undaunted

This is all personal opinion on what will be universally playable and what you should horde are...

Vileplume
Dodrio
Flower Shop Girl
Energy Exchange Unit

This more of a "tech" set most of the Pokemon are great techs in situational decks.
eg: Umbreon for a deck with Dark Energy
Weavile for a miller
Houndoom again for a miller
Skarmory for a deck with Special Steel

The only Pokemon I can see a deck being built around is Scizor, all the other Primes and Legends are Mediocre at best.
 
Drifblim will get better once Hunter is released in America. This was a really, really Dark/Metal heavy set, which is good because they needed the extra support.
 
I personally loved the sneasel till I used it in my PR and rolled 6 tails to ultimately end the game in a loss. Though scizor works well especially if you run special metal with some energy exchangers to get them. All in all though I find this set to be really meh compared to past sets, I equate it to the level of secret wonders personally.
 
I really like dexoyes and rayquzza you could do some series damage to your oppoents game with him and grounden and kyrogi legend. Look at dilga from platnium now that card is good with legend box.....and oh yea i like a lot of other stuff from undaunted.
 
Basically, major cards that miiight see wins: Vileplume, Legend box (although its a stupid play mathematically), Scizor Prime, Drifblim, Energy Exchange Unit
Overhyped cards that should not win anything bigger than a battle roads (or small cities): Kyogre Groudon Legend, Deoxys Rayquaza Legend, Flowershop Girl (only in this area until Palmer rotates), Dodrio, Espeon Prime, Umbreon Prime... the list goes on ;D

This set is nothing to cough at. Don't buy packs. Just buy singles for the stuff you need. Most of the rares are garbage. They aren't even binder fodder.
 
Combee has been splashed around in a couple deck ideas as well. Team Rocket's Trickery has also been mentioned for disruption style decks.

Get a Smeargle. Combined with Unown Q its a really fun card to toy around with. Not the most reliable card, but it really is fun to play around with.
 
togetic is a good card finder, then evolve to togekiss for a great superscoop up and heal all your pokemon
 
I've been playing around with Raichu prime and have had some success. I use SF Drifblm and LA Rayquazza (duh.) You need memory berry so you can copy pikachu's 50 damage attack.
