Help Offensive Hoopa

Been testing this deck online since I lack Lele online, and I have a few questions.

1.) What should I focus on getting out early game? I find myself going in with Koko and softening the field up then going in with Hoopa, but sometimes I feel weird using Koko as a suicide lead.

2.) What is a good draw supporter line? I think I play something like 4 Sycamore, 4 Cynthia, 2 N but I'm willing to make adjustments. I usually have something in hand but I'm not too sure because I haven't played too many games yet (~5 or 6).

3.) Is it worth it to build this irl? The only thing I would have to get would be Max Elixir, but those are crazy right now and are rotating soon.

Thanks for all input in advance!

1) It depends on the matchup, on big basic decks, you would probably prefer a hoopa, but in a zoroark matchup I would prefer koko to put on early game pressure, and then lock up with hoopa later in the game. Taking some turns with koko also lets you see what possible techs your opponent might be playing, and lets you determine ways to take care of them.

2) My supporter line recommendation would be 4 Cynthia, 2 N, 3 Sycamore, 2 Lillie, 1 Kukui. You want to have those Lillies so you can hit them early and get a huge advantage.

3) I think it is worth it, but you have to be able to counter effectively. It could require some smart meta calls at whatever you plan on playing this at, but I think if you put some thought in it, you can find an optimal build for your location. Some of my preferred techs are EVO Mewtwo, Resource Management Oranguru (For Mill), and I like Promo Koko a lot.

Bless up, big fella. Good luck testing

I disagree with the Lillies but agree with everything else. Attacking Hoopa plays only one-prizers, so no Lele means no reliable way of grabbing T1 Lillies. Kukui is debatable, but not worth arguing over since it really comes down to nothing but player preference.

I don't have much history playing the deck, but I can point out a lot of flaws that you can use to build the deck better.
  • Just about everything in the deck is weak to fighting. Mewtwo by itself may not work, especially against anything Lycanroc or Lucario where (post FBL) Rockruffs and Riolus can OHKO your guys for 1 Energy. Plus both of those can evolve and kill Mewtwo.
  • It struggles to take KOs. Anything that can hit it that sets up faster wins almost all of the time. Hoopa doesn't do enough damage to counteract this. And anything Garb with big boys is almost a guaranteed autoloss.
  • Not enough disruption. Just play more E-hammers. That actually solves a lot of problems for the deck.
  • Inconsistency. Not necessarily dead-drawing, but just not drawing what you need is a common problem that I've witnessed. It may have just been the players, and I know that's not a solid argument, but from what I've gathered, drawing anything that clogs your hand will either be Discarded by Sycamore or shuffled back into the deck, potentially repeating the cycle.
  • Dear God play Giratina. If you don't, you 100% autoloss to Frogs. As uncommon as it might be, just play Giratina. Without it, you don't touch Greninja.
