little does the majority of pokebeach know, but this is my TRUE field of expertise. I produce dubstep/other bass heavy genres of edm, and spend a great deal of my time listening/exploring/creating this type of music. It's recently been getting much more exposure in the mainstream, which is a mixed blessing. Dubstep has an extremely diverse fanbase, and contrary to what some people will tell you, a very diverse sound and variety of styles within it as well. It's evolved into more of an idea and movement in the music world than anything else, and I'm proud to be a part of it! With Skrillex just recently being the first dubstep artist to break a million fans on facebook, I think there are big things in store for this type of music in the mainstream media both in the U.S. and internationally.
