^ Was quite literally about to make the same analogy. If the game is as it looks in the trailers and gameplay we've seen, it looks like a strategic shooter and not for kids at all.
I beat you both to that. :D

What is this. At least Game and Watch is back but holy what.

Well, Namco is one of the studios behind SSB4. It only makes sense that one of Namco's biggest characters is usable.
That being said, I'm hyped.

Doubt it. That rumor didn't specify Greninja and we now know Greninja was the X and Y pokemon chosen since before development even began.

That's some serious denial, especially since he's been right about everything. He wouldn't leak Greninja's name because they didn't know his name would be Greninja yet.

I was reading earlier on here that a new Star Fox is coming for the Wii U but apparently F-Zero didn't make the cut. Still Pac-Man for the new Smash Bros. wasn't too surprising for me, I did manage to see some new gameplay footage for Mighty No. 9 and it's pretty awesome.

Original Bayonetta only comes with the physical copy of Bayonetta 2. Original Bayonetta will be 60fps, feature Dual-Audio, and allow Off-TV play.

While all this good stuff flows out, I await the bad thing Nintendo did. They did something wrong and now they're trying to make it seem not all that bad. WHAT DID YOU DO NINTENDO?

So, uh, that unannounced 3DS game is this: http://gematsu.com/2014/06/nintendo-announces-code-name-steam-for-3ds

I'm not a fan of the art style, and while the premise is wacky and original and unexpected and etc etc it just doesn't appeal to me. The gameplay, on the other hand, sounds great, and I'm glad Nintendo is coming out with new IPs, but I really hope that this doesn't mean that Intelligent Systems isn't working on a new Advance Wars. It probably does though, because they're also working on SMTxFE at the moment.

Consequently, I already hate this game with a burning passion if only because it crushed my dreams of playing 3DS Advance Wars in the near future. Excuse me while I go sulk for a bit.

Yeah I was hoping it would look a bit more quirky honestly...it still looks neat but.... ehhh, not so impressive.

Hoping tomorrow we get some news on some unlocalized games that still need A LOT of attention and are a major want from both their fandoms. Youkai Watch and Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode. I am looking forward to seeing those two get localized.

I honestly thought Nintendo showed off a lot of great stuff. Probably the only things missing was either a Metroid reveal/Majora's Mask remake/new Advance Wars (although STEAM makes up for the latter a little bit I guess).

Splatoon looks absolutely great. New IP and the concepts that they have make the game look a lot more deeper than the kiddie exterior it has. Plus, it just looks really addicting to play, something akin to Mario Kart but for the shooter genre. The new Zelda tease looked just stunningly beautiful. I've been looking forward to X for a while and it's great to see how far along that game is coming. I really like they're including the original Bayonetta with the new one as well. That adds a good amount of value to the game. And the new Yoshi/Kirby games graphically look like they have just amazing art styles and I like that a lot. For 1st Party titles, Nintendo did pretty much everything they needed to and I love that they streamed some gameplay and talked with developers in their streams on Twitch and YouTube. That exposure is really nice to see them get out and do.

dmaster out.
