Do any of you have any funny stories on how your things got lost?

(This didn't happen to me, it happened to my cousin.) He tried to help a lady fix her flat tire, and she needed a phone. My cousin let her use his, and they got the tire fixed. Some road help guy distracted him, and said its fine, we can both go home. We left without the phone. The funny thing was though, we were coming back from Sprint, and he just bought some new 400$ phone.
This story was funny and strange at the same time:
When I was really little, (probably 7 or 8) I had lost this stuffed animal. So I began to look everywhere and see if it would turn up. I thought I had left it in my bedroom but I went out into the living room anyhow just to see if it was around. So I'm looking under my couch and I look up. I see that the stuffed animal is staring at my in this cabinet and it was the weirdest thing, considering I never remembered putting it in there. Haha, that's it for me.

EDIT: Oh yeah, one last note. My bro LuckyLuigi7 once lost a stuffed animal and a year later it turned up, outside, in a pile of wood... I can't explain that... lol

I lost a book, and looked in the refridgerator. It was there.
When I was little, my little brother had these little tiny dinasaur toys.
And my Baby brother flushed them ALL down the toilet.
No one knew what my baby brother did, so me and my brother kept looking for them. When we were about to give up, my dad called the plumber because the toulet was clogged (suprise, suprise) and we found them, although, my little brother didn'twant them back after they were in the toilet. When my baby vrother saw them though, he just kept laughing and laughing at his own little prank.

When I was still in public school before I got homeschooled...I brought my brother's blastoise model (It was beutiful T_T), and I put it on my desk (I was young and ignorance was a bliss xD)....alas...my teacher took it from me and never gave it back...T_T

Just had a few. So, one day my brother and I were leaving to go some place. I brought my DSi, while my bro was looking for his. He seriously spent like half-an-hour until my mom said it was time to go. So, on the way, my brother had this thought where he left it at my aunts house, who has childen that can possibly ruin his DS. So he was freaking out. When we got home, he took like so long searching for it. That wasn't even funny! So, I soon just finally started to chip in and help. It took me only a few seconds to find his DS (XD) Where was it? On a shelf right next to the place where he does his homework.
The same thing like that was happening to me once. The day before some TCG tourney, I was preparing. So, I was getting ready to put my deck in my backpack, when I noticed, "Ummm.... where is my deck!" I searched everywhere for it, since that deck was amazing. And I didn't want to change. So after about an hour, I was just about to explode. And then I found it in my backpack, where I put it in -_- Wow... do I have a bad memory!
