Old card prices

I play DP-on, and i don't want to spend more money of all new cards, and i don't have cards like Weavile SV, and many others

So my question is: When Legends comes out, do you think cards that are rotated out will drop in price on Ebay and such sites? And if so, by how much?

Well naturally prices are going to fall a lot, especially since most of the current cards aren't viable in the Unlimited format. Imagine if Claydol was going to be rotated out (unlikely with the new promos, but just for now assume): Unless your favorite Pokemon was Claydol, or you're just a collector in general, would you still pay $20 for a card that can't feasibly function in any metagame? Doubtful. If you asked me for a ballpark estimate I'd assume most cards would fall by 60-90%.

I'm sure though that the fan favorites/X's will have collector's value eventually. Just not immediately.

What do you mean cards that are rotated out? Of course when cards get rotated out, they become practically worthless. But since the format is DP-on, the prices of cards (specifically staples) are only going to go up.

Which is why they are releasing things like Uxie and Claydol as promos... >_>
