So coming back into the game a little bit I had posted about what budget decks I could go with. I decided I'd just build the new Salamence cause he's been my deck since forever. Then I realized my local league doesn't care about the format rules in casual free play.
So I decided to use the new trainer/supporter stuff and rebuild an old Salamence deck.
Pokemon: 21
From what i can recall, this was the original pokemon line up I used back at the time. There was probably Sableye (SF) or Spiritomb in here as well, but don't remember....
Sableye wouldn't do anything now though since cant attack first time.
The main difference now is the trainer line up. So many new cards to choose from.
I'm looking to expand the option and flexibilty of this old Salamence build with the new stuff mixed in.
The HP curve with all these new EX and Mega cards make Salamence's Poke'Body live almost all the time.
What changes can be made to make it more consistent and flexible? I strongly dislike sitting behind an Uxie or something while I power up a Salamence.
Could I run the newer Reshiram for Fire acceleration? Or should i re-visit the After Burner Typhlosion from HG/SS for energy accel? Or something else all together?
Thanks guys.
