Ruling Omega Barrier Wording

With the wording of barrier, when it says trainer cards does that specifically mean supports such as Lysandre as well? Since all supporters are technically items cards?

"Trainer" is an umbrella term for Items, Supporters and Stadiums. Item Cards are not the same as Supporters, but they are both Trainers. Omega Barrier does indeed block Lysandre and other Supporters/Items (excluding Pokémon Tools) that would affect it.
