Here's some info about a Pokemon League run out of Brampton, Ontario:

League Sessions are every Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.

Our Pokemon League is really varied with respect to age groups and play levels present. It's not uncommon to have anywhere from 12 to 15 players at a session, so you should never be at a loss for a player to play against. Also, I run casual tournaments about once a month with a minor admit fee (usually $5) where I hand out loads of random prizes and store credit to the top finishers. We usually get about six to ten players for these tournaments, but the more the merrier ^_^

Cool stuff, I'm moving to Orangeville this weekend, might be able to drop in and check out your league tomorrow. How's the turnout generally?

Sadly can't make it to the march break sessions, too bad march break is a week too late - my job starts the 14th. XD

Teddy N Me is pleased to invite you to a special tournament for the Pokemon TCG, where first place will win a box of the newest set, “Next Destinies”! Here are some details about this very special event:

-$10 admit fee, starting at 12:00 pm noon on Sunday March 4th. Please arrive a little before noon if you wish to attend.

-MODIFIED Format deck restrictions will be in place. The following sets are legal for Modified play:

- HeartGold/SoulSilver, Unleashed, Undaunted, Triumphant, Call of Legends, Black/White, Emerging Powers, Noble Victories, Next Destinies.

If we reach 12 players in attendance, first place will get a box of “Next Destinies”! Additional prize support depends on the number of players in attendance.

The EXtraordinary power of Mewtwo EX can be YOURS if you attend this special Pokemon TCG tournament at Teddy N Me! Here are the details:

-$5 admit fee, starting at 1:00 pm noon on Sunday March 18th. Please arrive a bit earlier than 1pm to register.
-MODIFIED FORMAT deck restrictions will be enforced. The following sets are legal for Modified format:

HeartGold/SoulSilver, Unleashed, Undaunted, Triumphant, Call of Legends, Black/White, Emerging Powers, Noble Victories, and Next Destinies.

-With a minimum of 12 players, first place will be rewarded a hard-to-find copy of the full-art Mewtwo EX card from “Next Destinies”! One booster pack will be added to the prize pool per player in attendance!

But that’s not the end of the EXcitement!! The fun won’t stop with these special twists:

- A RANDOM Prize every round!

- Mewtwo’s Challenge!! Every round there will be a minor, optional, game state challenge posted with the round pairings (example, be the first player to have four Special Energy in play, the first player to have 9 cards in hand, etc.) If you complete Mewtwo’s Challenge, please call for the judge. The first person to complete Mewtwo’s Challenge each round will also win a prize!

- DOUBLE Pokemon League points ALL DAY!! Every match played this day will be worth TWO points on your Pokemon League scorecards!

Here's the next Pokemon tournament at Teddy N Me

Arm yourself and explore the Darkness at this special Sealed Tournament for the Pokemon TCG! Here are the details:

-$25 admit fee, starting at 1:00 pm on Sunday May 13th. Please arrive a bit early if you wish to play.

-Each admit fee comes with six packs of Dark Explorers. Players use the packs to build a 40-card deck to play with in a Swiss-style tournament. Each game consists of four Prize cards.


-One pack of Dark Explorers will be added to the prize for each player in attendance.

Will you open Darkrai EX, Entei EX, Raikou EX, or any of the other great Dark Explorers cards? Find out at this great sealed tournament!!

Teddy N Me is the place to play the Pokemon TCG on Sunday June 3rd!! Not only is this the day of Teddy N Me's next Battle Roads tournament, it's also the day of another great tournament where first place wins a box of Dark Explorers! Two great Pokemon tournaments run back-to-back make for one fun day, and it's all happening here at Teddy N Me!

Pokemon TCG- Battle Roads Spring 2012 Tournament @ Teddy N Me

The next Ontario Battle Roads run is scheduled for a stop here at Teddy N Me! Here's some details:

-Totally FREE!!!

-Our Battle Roads will be on Sunday June 3rd, with registration set to begin at 10:00am. Please arrive a bit early if you wish to attend. Registration will end and round 1 will begin roughly at 11:00 am.

-Decklist registration will be required, and each player will need a valid Play! Pokemon ID to enroll. If you do not have a decklist or a Play! Pokemon ID, these supplies will be provided to you by the event organizer.

-The event will be a Modified-format tournament with Swiss rules. Modified cards are all cards from HeartGold/SoulSilver through to Dark Explorers, as well as reprints of cards found therein.

And then right after Battle Roads comes the Dark Explorers Box Tournament!!


-$10 admit fee on Sunday June 3rd. Registration starts at 2:00pm and round 1 will begin at 2:30 pm.
