hi everyone I'm new here and I've some questions about the new cards (d/p)

in monferno's flame dance( [f]-search your discard pile for a [f] energy card and attach it to Monferno ) if u don't do this the attack does nothing like infernape lv. x's flare up?

It's not a condition (no "you can't use this attack" text) so... no.
