BW/BW2 Opinions on Pokemon Conquest?

The game was fun, but evolving pokemon was sort of difficult, and the difficulty curve was crazy at times. And I hate it how the main game gets temporarily deleted and you have to do all these short episodes (Not sure if you get the main game back after you finish them all :/), the short episodes should at least save what you do.

I can't quite tell, but from what you're describing, this is exactly how it worked in the Ranger games.

Honestly, I'm not digging it. I've played better RPG's, and better SRPG's, Meh.

There honestly wasn't a difficulty curve at all...if you knew what you were doing, it was extremely easy.

I loved this game, though I have to agree that it was a bit easy.

The best part of this game is that it basically combines two of my favorite things: Pokemon and Risk. I had a little bit of trouble on Dragnor, but thats it.

The Pokemon team is saved, but the link levels aren't.
I think after you finish all the other special episodes, you get one more episode where you play as the hero again - plus, in a few side stories, you can recruit the hero back - but I'm only about three-fifths done with the special episodes.

I didn't like that I lost my progress too, but it was something to get used to. Plus, most of the episodes are really easy and barely require any effort.

One thing I like about this game is how usable Abra is. Teleport is overpowered, so much so that you can defend pretty much all non-flag levels with a sole Abra. Especially Avia. just teleport until you get that one unreachable spot, and just sit there and wait for the turn count to end.
One thing I don't like is how easy the legendary encounters are. I'm about a quarter done with the special episodes.

After you complete all the Special Episodes, the final episode, you play as the hero again.
