After struggling on PS, I knew I needed to face lift my team. Here's what I kept of it.
Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
Modest Nature
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Flamethrower
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse
My special sweeper, and part Fairy/Dragon killer. Heatran has always helped me in OU, and I have no intent on changing that now. Flamethrower for the accuracy, I'm willing to risk the PWR drop with the Modest Nature. It kills most of its checks with it.
Landorus - I (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature (it's what I have in game)
- Earthquake
- Bulk Up
- Outrage
- Stone Edge
I decided a different route for Landorus - I. A Bulk Up Sweeper. It's served me well so far. The only time I've had an issue is where I over or mis-predicted something. Outrage is for Goodra, which always dies even without the Bulk Up Boost. Stone Edge and EQ for the EdgeQuake combo, and Bulk Up I've explained already.
Tyrantrum @ Focus Sash
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Fang
- Crunch
- Dragon Claw
I've come to like Tyrantrum over the past few weeks, after someone suggested it to me as my SR user. With this set up its really great at getting it off and tending to even survive a hit or two. The moveset I have is for if Focus Sash gets broken by something and I can then hit things hard with Crunch or Fire Fang. My set up OHKO's Kyurem-B. Unless Smeargle Spores it I can always get Stealth Rock up and going.
As you can see I need many things to make this work. Things I've debated using are:
Aegislash, Greninja, Slowking, Excadrill, Tangrowth, Ferrothorn.
