  • 1 Drampa GX (beatdown)
  • 2 Galvantula (beatdown)
  • 2 Pawniard (evolution)

Trainer (32):
  • 4 Professor Sycamore (draw)

  • 3 Fairy Garden (free retreat)
Energy (12):

STRATEGY:

Go first and start with any Basic Pokémon other than Tapu Lele GX. Use Tapu Lele GX and Bridgette to fill the bench with Basic Pokémon. On usual Bridgette will obtain the evolution line and either a Xerneas or Marshadow GX. Accelerate to the benched attacker with Max Elixir. evolve the benched evlotions next turn and start to hit the defending Pokémon with Rainbow Force.

SPOILER:

Marshadow GX
Basic Fighting Pokémon
HP 150

This Pokemon can use the attacks of Basic Pokemon in your discard pile. (This Pokemon must have the necessary Energy to use an attack.)
[F][F][C] Beatdown: 120 damage.
[F] One Hundred Fissures GX: 50x
This attack does 50 damage times the number of Basic Energy attached to this Pokemon. (You can only use 1 GX attack per game.)
Retreat Cost: C
Weakness: P

Hi folks,

Would be interested in comments on how to improve this deck. Thanks for the assistance in advance.

Maybe hoopa to try to get a psychic benched pokemon and for the search support for other pokemon

Hi Gabking5458,

Thanks for the review. I already use one Hoopa Ex in the deck to search out the other three Pokémon Ex. He indeed makes the deck a lot more consistent.

Hi folks,

Edited the deck a little. Would like to include a second Level Ball to bench Galvantula faster. Considering to take out one Fairy Garden for a second Level Ball. How does that sound?

malamar is being rotated, just saying.

maybe add bisharp and jolteon?? Otherwise, it looks great

Hi Kai88,

Thanks for the review. I know about it. The list was made when XY11 released in Japan and we did not know about the rotation. Will update the list now to show the most recent build.

Giratina seems pretty useless without playing Double Dragon energy

Hi PokeDad5,

Thanks for the review. Girantina increases Xerneas damage output on the bench and can be used to stall for a turn against Mega decks if they do not have Garbodor of Hex Maniac. None of the Pokémon Ex in this deck are ment to attack. They are bench sitters ment to fuel Rainbow Force.

I see what you're doing. Seems like a wate to me, but I haven't tested it. I guess I'm just questioning the EX choices on the bench to hold the energy for Xerneas attack. Wouldn't it make better sense to have wailord on the bench to hold the energy since his HP's are so much higher and the potential for a lysandre OHKO are dramatically less?

Hi Pokedad5,

This is Rainbow Force Xerneas. All you are looking for are different types of Pokémon to allow Rainbow Force to hit harder. You want Pokémon Ex since Hoopa Ex can search for them. Assuming that Hoopa Ex and Volcanion Ex are in the deck a single Ultra Ball increases the damage output by 150 damage.

I know this is a bit old but just saw your list through another post and definitely like your mindset.

I'm in the process of building this deck on PTCGO and thought I would offer some ideas.

-3 Double Colorless Energy
-1 Evosoda
-1 Giovanni's Scheme
-1 Jolteon-EX
-1 Shaymin-EX
-1 Giratina-EX

+2/2 Galvantula
+2 Rainbow Energy
+1 Umbreon-EX
+1 Lysandre

The premise of these changes is to capitalise on the increase of Megas in the current meta and hope to steal a win through using Rainbow Energy to provide Umbreon-EX the means to use End Game. The cheekiest way to accomplish this is to power up Xerneas, attack one turn to decrease their HP, and Ninja Boy to Umbreon-EX for the win! To compliment this we need an extra Lysandre to pull out the damaged Mega in case the opponent tries to bench it. The 2/2 Galvantula is just another Dual Type to increase damage of Xerneas obviously. If all else fails the Umbreon-EX is another type on the bench and it's first attack can be used to cycle through unneeded cards.

What do you think? Ingenious right? ;-)

Hi folks,

Decided to revive the deck with the release of Marshadow GX. This deck could have potential in the slower meta since Tapu Lele GX and Bridgette set up the board and also thin the deck to increase the odds to obtain some of the needed trainers to stream Xerneas and Marshadow GX.
