Start out with Smeargle, set up Promogon Z to set up Heatran. Bronzong to set up PDL if needed. PDL to keep adding prizes till time is called.

It works out okay, just needs to be a tad faster. Takes me 2-3 turns to set up.

Suggestions?

Thinking of taking out the Rare Candies for another BTS, and I guess CQ?
This deck has it's equal ratio of good, to horribly bad.

I could always tech in a 1-1-1 Exploud.
Just so when and if I actual set up, 190 HP PDL is there.

haha that's funny. I would be terribly upset if my opponent managed to do this.

Don't you have a problem with PDL getting knocked out eventually with only playing 2 life herbs? Even 190 HP is only good for a few, if not less, turns against most decks.
Also, running a Legend Box or 2 might save you from using an attack with Bronzong and also could power up PDL right up from the get-go. Perhaps making the deck a wee bit faster.

I tried Legend Box, never worked for me. o_O Not sure why.
Yeah I was thinking of playing 4 Poke Healer+

At league, I got one guy at 15 prizes. He won in the end(It was a Mamoswine SF deck. Too much damage per turn D:)
Against my friends, I win, because they aren't as competitive.

This deck works amazing with Flygon. You can retreat for free.

What about putting in
4 karps
1 or 2 Dos

If you can force that many extra prizes on your opponent you wouldn't have to worry about using the necessary cards to discard the karp and just let them get knocked out normally once you get your opponent's prizes up high enough. Then pull out you're powered up gyarados and see if you can make to 6 before they can get 10+. Although, I'm not sure what you would take out in order to do that. Whatever you take out might make the deck fail miserably at its initial goal.

I'm just thinking if you can somehow get some "Cheap" big-hitter out there once you get their prize count up then you could keep them from slowly(but surely) coming back and eventually winning anyway. Just thinking out loud, I guess.

What if you get stuck with a karp and no G-Dos? It'd be better to run a 3-2-3-1 line of flygon x.

Do you mean during set up(unlikely), on the bench after his active gets knocked out(also unlikely), or Gyarados in his prizes(Azelf)?

That Flygon would be knocked out after a couple of turns as well. Although, it is more what the original Stall goal of the deck was. That would still only be a few extra cards off the top of your opponent's deck. Doesn't seem worth it for that many more cards he'd have to fit in.

Trust me, Flygon can take a punch. It can hold it's own in combat.

I don't see how it would be better than Gyarados, honestly.

1. Not guaranteed as much damage(unless you luck out with nothing but Lv.X's on the opponent's side
2. twice as many pokemon to put in the deck than with Gyarados.
3. It's a stage 2 AND a Lv.X (Gyarados is Stage 1 thus consistently faster)

Although, it does have 10 more HP... on the Lv.X.

Just doesn't seem like the best idea IMHO.

With G-Dos you have to discard your karps to do damage when you're trying to do a completely different strategy.

I'd have to replace Porygon Z if I wanted to run Flygon.
Free retreat would be nice, and discarding a card off their deck in between turns is neat, but that's about it. The attack doesn't mesh well with legends. Definitely something to think about.

G-dos would be nice, but letting them knock out Karps wouldn;t be too viable, and it'd clutter my bench too much.

Good suggestions indeed.

ok if your giving them prizes with PDL then what you want to be doing is to try to deck them out instead of trying to get your own prizes. Flygon X is the wayto go, like said before flygon will give you free retreat, it can handle any pesky lv.xs ready to kill your legend and can slowly deck them out.

To get your legend out fast I would use jirachi from rising rivals, 2 twins and 4 engineer's adjustments. This means you want jirachi up as your starter then use engineer's or twins(if loosing) then again with jirachi's attack. If you use twins you can search your deck for any 4 cards (a full legend and and missing links you need) and if you use engineer's you can draw 8 cards in one turn and just discard 2 energy which you can get back with fisherman and palmers

With flygon you have hos pokebody to discard cards/ with oter card like chatot and slowking, you can manipulate their hand.

Run legend box, I think your forgetting about the porygon Z lv x's power, any 2 cards on top? Place both halves on top, play legend box, automatic legend?

I don't use Porygon Z X. Although I should definitely make room for it. Actually, that idea is pretty ingenius. Maybe even play some Research Record with it.
I'll test it with Porygon Z X, and then again with Flygon X.
ALbeit, I'm a large fan of Porygon 2's power.

Flygon is better to use in my opinion. He hits harder and his body is just sick.

Don't forget it is has to be active to use its body.

I think Porygon-Z X would help you out, because Decode is just too good to pass up.

But as you set up your DPL you can have your flygon stalling.

I know. It's not really hard to get it set up and active anyway, though. :)

I know this deck is slow, but having to use Smeargle, get it out of active, and then Bronzong the Legend Pieces can be difficult, and makes you have to have the perfect hand to work. I myself would use Sableye SF to keep Impersonating and grabbing the Legend Pieces w/ Bebe's to get it ready. Even more Legend Box could be helpful.

Edit: Oh. You don't run any Legend Box. Whoops. May I suggest dropping the 2-2 Bronzong for it?
