The aim of this thread is to be a place where questions can be posted pertaining older generations, namely those that are either too simple, too short or don't seem to start a big discussion to deserve their own thread about it. It also serves to share your doubts with everyone and read what others have to say.

So, I've been replaying Emerald and come across with two doubts:

- was Pacifidlog town really built atop a colony of Corsola!? People are quick to say that yes it was, but it seems otherwise, in the first place because the NPC girl in the town's Pkcenter that started it all doesn't say it, she only asks if the player would believe it if she were to tell us that; secondly, the routes around Pacifidlog (131 e 132) don't have any Corsola, instead the Pokémon is available in route 129, near Evergrande city and in third place, Pacifidlog is built atop logs - which are visible at least for crossing the town- things that already float!

- do you think that perhaps Team Aqua and/or Team Magma had anything to do with New Mauville's power generator problem, due to that sign near a secret base tree that says that onw of the teams was there and that the other one rules?

The answer to your first question is probably no, due to the reasons you've stated.

I believe the answer to your second question is no. Neither team has any reason to mess with New Mauville, never mind the fact that they couldn't get in even if they wanted to.

HG/SS Starter's Hidden Abilities @ Beginning?

Yo!
I know that HG/SS happened ages ago, but I am wondering if you can obtain your beginning with it's hidden ability?
Thanks

Hidden Abilities were not introduced until Gen V, so it wouldn't be possible to get any Pokémon with its hidden ability in Gen IV to the best of my knowledge.

Has anybody noticed how even in the games (at least B2/W2), Cilan is still the most proeminent of the triplets?
The city has bushes in the west part and they're taken care of. When arriving there I thought it would be just some decoration (even if having the elemental monkeys' heads) but after pressing A in front of the middle part of the two flowerbeds in front of the Striaton restaurant/former gym, it "says" that the flowers are well kept (or treated) and that someone must do it, so it can only be Cilan, the Grass triplet, taht takes care of all that. Also, the Stunfishs' night outbreak in Summer may be another nod to it, since in the anime, Cilan owned one! :D
