Ruling Petal Dance vs Abomasnow

If Sunflora SW hits Abomasnow MT with 2+ heads of Petal Dance, what happens, confusion or sleep? I imagine the player gets to choose, but I'd like to make sure.

From what I see, the player who controls the Sunflora gets to choose what happens. This is generally the case in effects like this. He could say: "First your Sleep kicks in, then the Confusion overriding the Sleep."

Surprise.

The Attack resolves first, that's why the wording "even if Abomasnow is Knocked Out" is on there. So the Sunflora gets Confused by its Attack, then Abomasnow's Power puts it to sleep.
