Does this confirm that the 4 booster packs arts are M-Gengar, M-Manectric, Diancie and Aegislash? Or did we know that already?

Yeah, from the PokéCollection announcement like 2 weeks ago.

I like those Talonflame artworks, I like them a lot. I mean I like like the artworks. I mean, well I don't know how to put this... I love them!? Talonflame, when did you become such a sexy beast?

One of them will be a Shiftry that was released in Japan in the same promo set that was released when they got Krookodile EX, though I forget what promo set it's from though. The other I don't know.

Let me get this straight: in a set focusing upon Psychic-Types and Metal-Types, neither theme deck is focused upon either? @_@

In a set about Fighting pokemon, the theme decks had a dark panda and a fairy dog thingy.

In a set about flames, they had an electric rat thingy and a psychic cat.

In all fairness the aforementioned panda is a fighting type Pokemon, Japan even got a fighting Pangoro that I happen to hope we get either as a promo soon or in Phantom Forces.

At least Brilliant Thunder had Fire type ponies, and Dark Hammer had Fighting type macho men.

Both theme decks in phantom forces don't have psychic type Pokemon at all.

I think a Grass Lightning theme deck is due. When was it since we last had one? Breakthrough from Delta Species?

Except the actual decks were Fighting/Dark and Psychic/Fairy. The former is of course "on Type" even if the cover Pokémon wasn't a Fighting-Type (at least the version in the deck wasn't); the many other Fighting-Types were obviously quite appropriate. Even though XY: Furious Fists contained Heracross-EX, M Heracross-EX and Herbal Energy, it didn't really feel like Grass was a secondary theme. Not much I can say about the Psychic/Fairy deck: I guess since Fighting-Types are often Psychic Weak but the Darkness-Types help to Resist Psychic it kind of makes sense... except Fairy-Types also Resist Darkness so... yeah it doesn't seem like a balanced foundation.
