Pest Control as in too much Durant...


We sit down to turn in our lists and I switch to XTC...

I will add to this:

Round 1 vs CJ Conti w/ ZekEels

I don't remember much about this, but it gets down to 2-2 prizes and I PokeGear, get N, and he uses it while I don't play it so he gets the game loss :/. We play it out and I win, so I feel better about that.

Round 2 vs Durant

I use Shaymin EX to set up Regigigas EX, use Giga Power 3 times to get 60 damage on me, and then use the second attack to ko the rest of his Ants.

Round 3 vs Durant

See Round 2.

Round 4 vs TyRam

I keep her from getting out any Typhlosion, and easily win.

Round 5 vs Cybertron w/ CMT

He wins the Mewtwo war and sets up better and I lose. Not a good hand, and little to say.

Round 6 vs Nick "Scrub" W. w/ Durant

My Shaymin EX is prized and I cannot get a Gigas up. Since I start with Mewtwo, so the victory was in his hands since the beginning.

Round 7 vs RogueChomp w/ ZekEels

I donk.

Top 16 vs Durant
Game 1:

I donk.
1-0

Game 2:

I cannot get out Shaymin EX and Gigas EX, so he wins.

Game 3:

He has a really bad hand and after Super Rod, PONT, and Dual Ball (2 tails), I bench him.

Top 8 vs Hipoke w/ Landorus Mewtwo Terrakion
Game 1:

I have an ideal set up and win pretty quickly.

1-0

Game 2:

He gets easy prizes on Celebis and other stuff until he is leading 2-5, and then I start to come back. I take 2 prizes off a Mewtwo and another off a Terrakion. I then N him to 2, and myself to 2, getting nothing but my final N. After koing his Landorus, I am left with a three card hand. He gets a Juniper from the N (yay :/). He takes an easy prize and I draw, N myself to 2, and ko his Terrakion. He gets the Juniper again, but whiffs the Catcher. I am able to Junk Arm for the Catcher, winning the game.

Game 1:

I can't set up. Had I gone first I would have donked too :[

I set up and win.

Game 3:

I don't set up.

It is so sad that a matchup comes down to luck, but that's Durant for ya.

Er, anyway, good job, lucky you you got to stay and finish, I had to stay an extra night just to lose first round of the morning, top 16 :/

I feel bad for Futachimaru (<--- I SPELLED IT RIGHT AND ITS NOT BECAUSE I SAW HIS NAME ON THIS POST OR ANYTHING) I remembered him saying he was 1-3 because of donks! D: You did so well at states! And Glaceon did your Virizion help at all?
 
Last round donk. Who could that have possibly been? :( Lol nice job though. Congrats on 3rd. Still hatin though. In a fun game I beat you so.....ha. dB<. lol You played an interesting list.....using Bianca,,,,and Virizion EP. U will never b forgived lololololol XD

I always play "interesting" lists :p.

And it donks because it is CMT, and I donked only twice.
 
Usually when I go against CMT, it never donks......of course there is always a first.....sadly.......oh well :p
 
I could have donked 3 more times had I gone first :p (one was my Top 4 match :/).

It is more like XTC because of a weird Pokémon line, but XTC =/= my XTC. Usually XTC's use more Tornadus.
 
I guess that is true. :p

At least I didn't lose to Durant in Top 16. That would have been worse.

yeah Glacy you had my dual balls too, pay up! lol I think I have more =P but if we trade again/I find my self in need of a dual ball after the rotation I will stalk you xP no pressure. (and you made me buy a mew for nothing! how mean ;P lol)

also congratulations on coming in 3rd you should've won so that you could take the champ title for pokebeach ;o

Yes my Virizion did help, and I didn't use your Dual Balls. I lost them :)X) and found them afterwards...

Yeah I hate Durant. Annoys me to death and mills me to defeat...

Good thing I can beat them.
