can someone explain why phione is a good card..cause i just got a phione like 15 minutes ago at a target and according to the "coolest card from majestic dawn" thread people are saying its one of the best...
 
it combos with pachi GE.
Start with pach grab 2 basic pokemon and a PHIONE.
Next turn retreat to Phione and evolve all your bench pokemon ASAP.
This is a great and easy way to setup!!!
 
You must have pulled the wrong Phione. Lol.

The holographic Phione that knows Wish for Evolution (Or whatever it is called) is the one that everyone thinks is the best card in the set...

yeah, the other one is rubbish.
it obviously is good in decks with stantler, mentor and magicarp. stantler searches for mentor, next turn get magicarp phione and something else, and evolve straight away to avoid sniping
 
Phione also works well with Call Energy, because you can use it's effect to get benched pokemon and then evolve them, saving you the trouble of retreating with Pachirisu.
 
great idea!
it also works with eevee, as you get 4, retreat and evolve each one at a time. come back with a glaceon lv.x and scramble and pummel.
great card...

Phione is not good with Pachirisu. HOWEVER. Phione and CALL ENERGY is. You can get 2 Basic Pokemon on your bench and then Evolve one of them. Uber huh?
 
But Corsola can't get the same type of Pokemon. :/

You must've pulled the non-holo Phione.
