So I did bad in Tucson's BR, so I decided to go to 2 BR's up in PHX, two days in a row. I'm not going to bother explaining everything, so onto the report:

17 Seniors
Top 4
Luxchomp/ERL

Round 1 VS Random
I just run through the murkrows with a belted luxray X, sniping anything that could prove to be a threat. GG 1-0

Round 2 VS (sigh) Random
I was beginning to get disappointed about these pairings, but I was a new player at one point too. I just do basically the same thing as round 1 with a belted luxray sweeping.
2-0

Round 3 VS Crobat Prime
This guy was really cool, and unfortunately I donked him. I filled my bench turn 1 and basically dragon rushed him turn 2 for the donk.

Round 4 VS Curtis S. With Scizor Lock
He starts sneasel and 2 scizors and I with Garchomp+Call (I think). I started with one half of ERL, and draw into the second off his mulligan. I go first, and call. I use luxray to snipe a scyther, and eventally he gets a scizor with 2 metals, which I then play ERL with fire energy to kill, leaving him with basically nothing. I use luxray and garchomp to sweep through his field from there. GG.
3-0

Round 5 VS Chenlock
This game, I just swept through him with dragonite and really everything. After power spraying 2-3 important galactic switches, it was game.

Top 4 VS Gyarados
I don't play a lucario GL, so I'm not so confident about this game. I start dragonite (ugh) and him with sableye (of course). He sets up a quick belted gyarados to take a 5 prizes lead, and I know I'm going to lose. Then, I finally get the cards I needed to execute the plan I had come into this match with. I bright looked his registeel LA, which has a 4 retreat cost, and sniped around it. I eventually killed his expert belted gyarados with 2 dragon rushes, and by this time he has 3 energies on his registeal, being able to retreat next turn for the win. I'm farely certain he only plays 2 warps, and he used one early, and he can't draw into the second. I bright look his regiice, and snipe one more time. By this time, I see a play. Since I used Bite on his registeal twice, and he used time walk early, I use uxie's psychic restore to put 20 on his regiice, putting it under. I poke turn crobat and bronzong, and ERL for my last 3 prizes, coming back from a 5 prize defficit. I am amazed that I was actually able to pull of the win, and I get ready for game 2.

Game 2 VS Gyarados
He starts sableye, and I get a decent luxray call start. I get set up quickly, but hes smarter this time about laying down pixies and registeel. I kill a belted gyarados, and just snipe around for the rest of the game, winning by 2-3 prizes. Onto top 2

Top 2 VS Chenlock
I feel pretty confident about this match, but I'm getting tired. I don't remember all that much about these games, but I do know that my manectric helped alot in this match. I won the first game, but he came back and beat me in the second game, and won on time (UGH) in the third.

Props:
Chinease Food
Getting 2nd
Manectric making my opponent waste a dragon rush for no damage
Expert belted luxray
Matt/dmaster for letting me borrow alot of stuff, including a luxray X

Slops:
Losing on time
Rod missing top by one place.
Other things

The next day's report will come soon.

I think Rod missed on top because I scooped to Chris because he got paired down against me when I was 2-2.

Can someone confirm?

Nobody knows for sure. We think it might have had something to do with Sandra's drop from the Tournament as Rod actually faced her and won.

dmaster out.

^That might have done it. She was 1-3 when she dropped, and that couldn't have helped his opponent's win % any. :/

You did well up to the very end. Congratulations on your effort. Best wishes to you on your next event!
